A BIG "HI" to all lovers of live theatre show entertainment!

...And, well done and thank you for taking time out to visit Invergordon's very own amateur damatics website! We need your support. The Invergordon Arts Centre needs to be well used or we will lose it as a theatre venue!!! [We have been warned!!!]

We'll use this site to get the word out on what the group is up to. We'll also keep updating news of performances, and pics (see previous productions). If you want to contact us you'll find the info below and also on the links page which also has a list of people who have supported and helped us. To find out what the Invergoredon Youth Players are up to click on Youth Players.

Thanks again for visiting.. we hope you enjoy the experience and that you will return again in the not too distant future, and maybe we'll see you at our next performance!
The Invergordon Players team

Our mission statement:
The Invergordon Players will enjoy themselves, be really enthusiastic and will be as professional as possible during performances and rehearsals to ensure audience satisfaction.

The New Group

In circa 1974 the Invergordon Ameteur Dramatics Society disbanded, and so, for 30 years Invergordon had no adult drama group running. That is until spring 2004 when Kirree Seddon and Cathey Reece (when they were part of Eden Court Outreach) helped and encouraged some adults away from their cocoons every Tuesday night.

Originally the group's title was "Creating Theatre for Children" which was part of Kirree and Cathey's remit, and performed, "A midsummer Night's Dream" under this banner.

In April of the same year the group got together and decided to form an independent enitity and 'go it alone'. On 30th May 2004 The Invergordon Players became a fully constituted organisation in its own right.

(The founder members were Fiona 'Fuggo' King, Robert Dinneen, Daveen Dinneen, Robert 'Ro' Goodwin, Cath Giles, Sandra Miller, Adrian Clark, Geoff King, and Ann Mardon.)

They are now looking forward to their 12th production later in 2008. See side panel. . . .

Why don't you send us a 'break-a-leg' email :o)
